Chat

Chat is Rox's AI-powered conversational interface: your always-on copilot that makes the CRM invisible. Formerly known as Command, Chat connects to your organizational data and lets you research, engage, manage, and create content through natural language, without switching between tools.
Chat can be kept open as a panel on the right side of any Rox view (Inbox, Accounts, Opportunities, etc.), so you can query and take action without leaving what you're working on.
Ways to Use Chat
Interact with Chat using natural language across these core workflows:
Research
"Why did this deal stall last year?"
Meeting Prep
"Summarize my upcoming call with Acme Corp and highlight open risks."
Outreach
"Draft a re-engagement email for this account based on their recent acquisition."
Pipeline Management
"Create a new opportunity for Eudia and set the stage to Discovery."
Content Generation
"Generate a dashboard of my open deals by stage."
Document Reference
"@Q3 report — what were the top objections from this account?"

Features
Saved Prompts
When you open a new Chat session, your saved prompts appear as cards below the chat bar. One click launches the prompt directly against the current account context.
Prompts can be saved at the user level, team level, or org-wide. Edit user level prompts by clicking the pencil icon to the right of "Saved Prompts". Org-wide saved prompts can be configured by administrators to standardize workflows across the team.

"@" Mentions — Reference Anything in Context
Type @ to directly reference specific emails, meeting transcripts, notes, documents, or companies. Rox pulls that context directly into the conversation so you can work with the exact information you need — no copy-pasting or switching tabs required.

Example: Type @ and select a recent meeting transcript, then ask Chat to "draft a follow-up email based on this call."
Account Selector

The chat bar includes an All accounts selector, letting you scope a conversation to one or more specific accounts. Click the dropdown to switch accounts, or use the + button to add additional accounts to the context. This ensures Chat's responses are grounded in the right account data.
UI Context — Chat Understands What You're Looking At
Chat now reads the current view you're in (accounts, opportunities, outreach, and more) and incorporates that context automatically into responses. This means you no longer need to describe where you are or what you're looking at — Chat already knows.
Slide Deck Generation

Chat can now generate presentation slide decks directly from your account data and research. Decks can be exported as PDFs or .pptx files.
File Uploads & Inline File Icons

Files can be uploaded directly in the Chat bar. Uploaded files now display inline as icons in the conversation, both for newly sent messages and when revisiting past conversation history.
