# Rox for macOS

Install the Rox desktop app to keep Rox available from your Mac.

### Overview

The Rox macOS app brings Rox to your desktop. It supports real-time meeting transcription, notes, and access to your Rox workspace.

Install the app, sign in with your work account, and grant any requested macOS permissions. You can then record meetings and work with Rox without switching contexts.

### Before you begin

* A Mac with [**Apple Silicon**](https://support.apple.com/en-in/116943).

* A Rox account for your organization.
* Permission to install apps on your Mac.

### Download and install Rox

#### Download the app

Download the latest Rox installer from [rox.com/downloads](https://rox.com/downloads).

#### Open the installer

Open the downloaded `.dmg` file. Drag **Rox** into the **Applications** folder.

#### Launch Rox

You can either Open **Finder → Applications**, then double-click **Rox** or look up **Rox** in **Spotlight** search and double-click **Rox**.

If macOS asks for confirmation, select **Open**.

#### Sign in

Once installed, sign in with your Rox account.
