# Edit and Manage Clever Columns

Once you've added a Clever Column, you can edit its prompt, reposition it in your view, or show and hide it as needed. Here's how.

***

### Edit a Clever Column

1. Click the column header — Hover over any Clever Column and click its header.
2. Choose "View Prompt" — A prompt editor will appear showing the expanded prompt Rox generated for you.
3. Modify your prompt — Example: Change from generate revenue from B2C to use a direct-to-consumer model.
4. Modify your sources - Select which sources Rox should use to answer the prompt.
5. Advanced settings — Select the model used for the prompt and any formatting instructions
6. Click "Update Column" — Rox will re-run the research with your updated prompt and refresh the results.

Note: When you submit your update, Rox quietly generates the expanded prompt in the background — you'll see the column show a "pending" then "running" status without any extra confirmation step required.

### Fast vs. Standard vs. Deep Models

When editing or creating a Clever Column, you can choose how Rox runs the research:

* Fast — Returns results quickly and is the default for new columns. Recommended for most queries.
* Standard — Takes longer but is suitable for more complex research questions.
* Deep — Takes the longest to run but is suitable for queries that require very high precision or multiple steps of research.

For most use cases, Fast is a great starting point. You can always re-run with Standard or Deep if you want deeper results.
