Description: Insights are Rox’s way to give you daily updates on all of your accounts across news, hiring trends, people changes, financial information, and more. It allows users to easily keep up to date with the important information about all of their accounts on a daily basis.
Demo:
How are people using it today: Sales representatives wake up to insights that are automatically in their inbox each day of the week. Insights allow sellers to quickly set or modify priorities for the day based on timely action items. Accessing insights in Rox surfaces automatically generated next steps to users that further streamlines the reaction time to important changes in accounts.

Technical details
Architecture:
Data Extraction: Large-scale pipeline to automatically crawl and search for potentially relevant news, people, hiring, etc. changes for each seller’s account on a continuous basis.
Task Orchestration: With the high volume of sellers and accounts, we have a very large system job that requires reliability, resumability, observability, and more. Designing a task framework to automatically fan out these jobs to many workers while maintaining these properties was a key part of this system.
Relevancy Filtering: Uses LLMs to automatically determine relevancy of a piece of information not only to a particular company but to the particular seller and the products they sell.
Expanding Top of the Funnel: The beauty of insights is that they only get more powerful as the top of the funnel grows. Expanding our data sources and extraction are a continuous priority at Rox to make sure we’re serving all possible relevant information to sellers.
Enhanced Filtering: Insights are only as good as their relevance to the seller — it’s important for us to maintain a high-bar and add more semantic filtering + relevancy capabilities to our pipeline, and eventually start updating to seller preferences.
Agentic Next Steps: We want to increase the power of the Rox Agent to be able to kickstart or handle suggesting even more of seller workflows based on individual insights.
