Rox Agent

Using Agent Chat in Rox

Agent Chat lets you interact with your connected data in natural language and take action directly from chat. You can ask questions, summarize information, and even generate outreach materials — all within the Rox interface.

Accessing Agent Chat

Open the Agent Chat View:

  • Navigate to the Chat tab in the Rox sidebar.

  • You’ll see your chat history at the top and a button to start a new conversation.

Starting a New Conversation

  1. Click New Conversation.

  2. Select the agent you want to interact with (e.g., PagerDuty Agent).

  3. Type a question or task in natural language.

     Examples:

     - “What deals do I have for PagerDuty?”

     - “Give a summary of my communications with Together AI.”

The agent will search across your connected integrations (e.g., Salesforce, email, calendar) to find relevant information. Results include citations and links to view or edit data in Rox.

Referencing Data with Mentions

While composing a message, use @ to reference:

  • Meeting Transcripts

  • People

  • Notes

Example:

  • Draft an email to @Alex at Together AI to set up a demo next week.

The agent will tailor the message using the person’s background and context from your Rox workspace.

Uploading and Summarizing Documents

You can upload artifacts such as technical documents or PDFs into the chat.

To summarize a document:

  1. Click the upload button inside the chat.

  2. Select your file (e.g., technical spec).

Examples

  • “Give me a summary of this doc.”

Generating Visualizations from Your Data

Agent Chat can generate visualizations based on the data you have connected.

To create a chart:

  1. Start a new conversation or continue an existing one.

  2. Enter a prompt requesting a visualization.

Examples:

  • “Plot my open opportunities by stage for Q2.”

  • “Show a bar chart of email volume by account last month.”

  • “Visualize meeting frequency with Together AI over time.”

If sufficient data is available, the agent will return a chart directly in the conversation, along with context and the underlying data source.

Tip: You can follow up with prompts like “Add trendline” or “Group by region” to modify the chart

Use Agent Chat to search, synthesize, and take action — all from one conversational interface.
